Access keys

The major links on this site have been assigned access keys. Access keys are keyboard shortcuts which allow links within a website to be activated without using a mouse.

Access keys supported on this site are listed below.

  • [ Skip to the start of the content
  • / Go to newzealand.govt.nz

Please note the use of access keys will differ from browser to browser e.g. IE 6 will require you to hold down the Alt key while using access keys and Mozilla Firefox will require you to hold down Alt + Shift while pressing access keys.

Font re-sizing

There are common keyboard shortcuts that can make text bigger within your browser.

Internet Explorer

  1. Open the View menu by pressing ALT + V.
  2. Select Text Size by pressing X.
  3. In the Text Size list, move to the text size option you want by pressing the UP ARROW or DOWN ARROW key.
  4. Press ENTER.

Mozilla Firefox

Increase font size by pressing CTRL +

Reduce font size by pressing CTRL –

We do not automatically record personal information; however, we may record anonymous detail of your activities when visiting our web site. We will record the minimum details required of you if you choose to partake in any services we offer on-line that require you to be authenticated.
